Overview

SpaceX is seeking a Product Compliance Engineer for their Starlink project to drive regulatory efforts and obtain product certifications. This role is critical in ensuring the compliance of consumer-facing devices. Experience in compliance engineering is essential.

Who you are

You have a strong background in compliance engineering, ideally with experience in wireless and safety standards. You understand the regulatory landscape and have a proven track record of obtaining necessary certifications for consumer products. Your attention to detail ensures that all products meet the required safety and compliance standards before they reach the market.

You are a collaborative team player who can work closely with design and engineering teams to influence product development decisions. Your ability to communicate complex compliance requirements in a clear and concise manner helps bridge the gap between technical teams and regulatory bodies. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about contributing to innovative projects that have a significant impact on users worldwide.

Desirable

Experience with satellite communications or broadband technologies would be a plus. Familiarity with international compliance standards and regulations is highly desirable. You are proactive in staying updated on changes in compliance requirements and can adapt quickly to new challenges.

What you'll do

As a Product Compliance Engineer at SpaceX, you will play a vital role in ensuring that Starlink products meet all regulatory requirements. You will drive the certification process for various consumer-facing devices, working closely with internal teams to ensure compliance from the design phase through to production. Your expertise will help shape internal design decisions, ensuring that products are not only innovative but also compliant with safety and regulatory standards.
