Meta is hiring a Program Manager for their Governance pillar within the Regulatory Compliance Program Organization. You'll be responsible for managing governance initiatives and ensuring compliance with regulatory priorities. This role requires strong cross-functional collaboration skills.
You have a strong background in program management, ideally with experience in governance and compliance. You thrive in ambiguous environments and can navigate complex discussions with various stakeholders. Your ability to understand technical features and educate others is key to your success in this role. You are adept at building frameworks for decision-making and trade-offs, ensuring that all perspectives are considered. You have a proven track record of supporting strategic design and operational execution of large initiatives, particularly in privacy and security contexts.
Experience in regulatory compliance programs or similar governance roles would be beneficial. Familiarity with privacy and security regulations, such as FTC Order requirements, is a plus. You are comfortable working cross-functionally with technical and product teams, and you have a knack for translating complex concepts into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
In this role, you will be responsible for the strategic design and operational execution of governance initiatives across Meta. You will work closely with leadership teams to ensure that the company meets its regulatory priorities while protecting user interests. Your role will involve building and operating governance and oversight functions, which are critical for maintaining compliance with various regulations. You will facilitate discussions among cross-functional teams, helping to align different perspectives and drive informed decision-making. Your ability to manage ambiguity and foster collaboration will be essential as you navigate the complexities of governance within a large organization.
You will also be accountable for monitoring the effectiveness of governance practices and making recommendations for improvements. This may involve analyzing existing processes, identifying gaps, and proposing solutions that enhance Meta's governance framework. You will play a key role in educating stakeholders about governance practices and ensuring that everyone is aligned with the company's regulatory objectives.
