Squarepoint Capital is hiring a Platform Application Specialist to deliver and maintain mission-critical platform infrastructure using DevOps methodologies. You'll work with diverse stakeholders to enhance operational efficiency and improve the developer experience. This role requires 4+ years of experience in DevOps or SRE.
You have a degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field, and at least 4 years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering. You possess a strong understanding of platform infrastructure and are skilled in building, automating, and scaling solutions. Your expertise in CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation allows you to enhance operational efficiency effectively. You are comfortable collaborating with developers, researchers, and infrastructure teams, and you thrive in a technical role that impacts productivity and efficiency.
Experience with observability tools, container orchestration, and various database systems is a plus. You have a knack for creating self-service workflows and improving the developer experience. Your ability to monitor, trace, and log infrastructure is essential for this role, and you are familiar with critical applications like messaging queues and load balancing.
As a Platform Application Specialist, you will play a crucial role in delivering and maintaining the platform infrastructure at Squarepoint Capital. You will design, monitor, and scale the platform infrastructure while working closely with a diverse group of stakeholders.
