SpaceX is hiring an RF Engineer to join the Crew Starship team, focusing on developing RF systems and hardware for space travel. You'll work on cutting-edge technology to support missions to the moon and beyond.

Who you are

You have a strong background in RF communication and hardware design, with experience in developing systems from specification through to verification. Your analytical skills allow you to perform system architecture trades and verify designs, ensuring optimal performance in challenging environments. You are familiar with testing RF systems for compatibility and end-to-end performance, and you thrive in fast-paced, innovative settings where your contributions can have a significant impact on future space missions.

Desirable

Experience with antenna pattern coverage, co-site interference, and link budgets is a plus. You are comfortable collaborating with a team of highly skilled engineers and are eager to tackle complex challenges in the aerospace industry. Your passion for space exploration drives you to contribute to projects that push the boundaries of technology and human capability.

What you'll do

As an RF Engineer on the Crew Starship team, you will design and develop hardware for RF communication and sensing systems, playing a crucial role in the mission to revolutionize space travel. You will engage in system specification, hardware design, and verification processes, ensuring that the RF systems meet the rigorous demands of space missions. Your responsibilities will include performing detailed analyses to support system architecture decisions and verifying system designs through testing and evaluation.
