Amazon is seeking a Senior Operations Manager for their Amazon Now team in Cairo. You'll lead a diverse team to enhance fulfillment operations and ensure high productivity and quality standards. This role requires 3+ years of experience in operations management.

Who you are

You have over 3 years of experience in operations management, particularly in fulfillment operations, and a proven track record of achieving results. Your leadership skills enable you to manage large and diverse teams effectively, ensuring that business objectives are consistently met. You are adept at analyzing operational challenges and implementing corrective actions to drive productivity and quality. You promote a culture of safety and well-being within your team, understanding that a supportive environment leads to better performance.

You possess strong organizational skills and can manage multiple dark stores simultaneously, ensuring that all shifts maintain high levels of quality and productivity. Your experience with third-party vendors in fulfillment operations allows you to navigate complex relationships and drive operational success. You are committed to building and supporting a strong team culture, recognizing that collaboration is key to achieving operational excellence.

Desirable

Experience in managing fulfillment operations in a fast-paced environment is a plus. Familiarity with performance metrics and SLAs will help you excel in this role. You are comfortable with data analysis and can leverage insights to improve operational processes.

What you'll do

As a Senior Operations Manager at Amazon, you will lead the Amazon Now operations team, focusing on redefining fast delivery for customers. You will oversee multiple dark stores, ensuring that quality, productivity, and service level agreements (SLAs) are consistently met across all shifts. Your role will involve analyzing operational performance and implementing corrective actions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

You will manage UTR operations in collaboration with third-party vendors, driving the weekly, monthly, and quarterly plans in alignment with stakeholder management. Your leadership will guide UTR supervisors in establishing standardized daily routines, fostering a culture of accountability and excellence within the team.

In this hands-on role, you will work closely with your colleagues to address challenges and implement solutions that enhance operational performance. You will be responsible for promoting a culture of safety and well-being, ensuring that your team feels supported and valued.
