Who you are

You are an experienced technologist with a blend of technical depth and strong business consulting skills. You can write code, but prefer to spend your time working with users to create Stripe solutions that support customer business objectives in complex, mission-critical environments. You have a strong understanding of payments systems and e-commerce solutions, which allows you to think strategically about the art of the possible for the user’s business. Your ability to clearly articulate technical concepts builds confidence in Stripe’s technology among users and stakeholders.

You possess strong verbal and written communication abilities, including the capacity to present to large audiences. Your experience with large enterprise customers has equipped you with the skills to engage and motivate cross-functionally, both internally and within our customers' organizations. You are comfortable navigating complex technical requirements and translating them into actionable solutions that meet customer needs.

Desirable

A background in payments systems and e-commerce solutions is a plus but not a requirement. Speaking multiple languages, such as French, German, or Spanish, can enhance your ability to connect with diverse clients and stakeholders.

What you'll do

As a Solutions Architect at Stripe, you will partner with the Sales team to technically qualify new business opportunities. You will demonstrate the art of the possible with the Stripe Platform, showcasing how our technology can solve complex business challenges. Your role will involve designing robust technical solutions that enable payment transactions, manage money movements, and simplify financial operational processes for our customers.

You will engage with users to understand their technical requirements and map those to Stripe technology, ensuring that our solutions align with their business objectives. Your ability to write code will be beneficial as you create prototypes and proof-of-concept solutions that illustrate the capabilities of the Stripe Platform. You will also collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the solutions you design are feasible and scalable.

In this role, you will be responsible for presenting technical solutions to both internal teams and external clients, articulating the value of Stripe’s technology in a way that resonates with diverse audiences. You will work closely with product teams to provide feedback on feature development and enhancements based on customer interactions and technical insights.
