You have a background in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering — you are familiar with three-phase electrical systems, including switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, and wet cell batteries. Your knowledge extends to stand-by diesel generators and related fuel systems, which are critical for maintaining operational continuity in data centers. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, allowing you to diagnose issues effectively and implement solutions.

You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with diverse groups of engineers and specialists — you understand the importance of communication and teamwork in achieving operational excellence. What you'll do

As an Engineering Operations Technician at Amazon, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the heartbeat of our data centers — your responsibilities will include operating and troubleshooting mission-critical facilities, ensuring that all systems are functioning optimally. You will work with a variety of electrical and mechanical equipment, including cooling systems, pumps, and motors, to maintain operational efficiency.

You will be responsible for conducting routine inspections and preventive maintenance on critical systems — your proactive approach will help identify potential issues before they escalate, ensuring that our data centers remain operational at all times.
