Docker is seeking a Principal Solutions Architect to build and scale their Professional Services organization. You'll provide thought leadership on AI, security, and containerization practices while collaborating with senior leadership. This role requires extensive experience in solutions architecture and customer engagement.
You have a strong background in solutions architecture with at least 7 years of experience in a customer-facing role — you've successfully designed and implemented complex solutions that drive customer success and adoption. Your expertise in containerization and cloud technologies is complemented by a deep understanding of AI and security practices, allowing you to provide valuable insights to enterprise clients.
You excel in building relationships with stakeholders at all levels — your communication skills enable you to articulate technical concepts clearly and effectively, ensuring alignment across cross-functional teams. You are a strategic thinker who can shape service strategies that align with business goals and customer needs.
Your experience includes creating technical collateral and reference architectures that facilitate customer onboarding and adoption — you understand the importance of repeatable processes and have a track record of developing scalable training programs and support offerings. You are comfortable working in a remote-first environment and thrive in collaborative settings.
Experience in leading a practice-focused team is a plus, as you may have the opportunity to grow into a leadership role. Familiarity with Docker's products and services will give you an edge in understanding customer requirements and driving successful outcomes.
As the Principal Solutions Architect, you will play a pivotal role in launching and scaling Docker's Professional Services organization — your primary responsibility will be to design and implement solutions that accelerate customer success and drive enterprise adoption. You will collaborate closely with product, marketing, and partner organizations to ensure that service offerings align with customer needs and market trends.
You will create reference architectures and technical collateral that serve as foundational resources for customers and partners — your work will help streamline the onboarding process and enhance the overall customer experience. Additionally, you will develop repeatable, monetizable instruments such as Statements of Work (SOWs) and training programs that can be scaled across various customer segments.
In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor to Docker's largest enterprise customers — you will provide thought leadership on best practices in AI, security, and containerization, ensuring that customers derive maximum value from Docker's solutions. Your insights will help shape the direction of the Professional Services practice and contribute to the overall growth of the company.
You will also engage with senior leadership to drive cross-functional alignment and ensure that service strategies are effectively communicated and executed. Your ability to influence and collaborate with diverse teams will be crucial in achieving the organization's goals.
