You are an innovative leader with a strong background in engineering and design, particularly in the context of fulfillment centers and logistics systems. You have a proven track record of owning complex projects from concept to completion, demonstrating your ability to solve intricate problems effectively. Your experience includes working with automated material handling equipment, packaging technologies, and robotics, which are essential for this role. You thrive in collaborative environments, engaging with both internal and external teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions. You are comfortable managing multiple projects simultaneously and can navigate the challenges of a fast-paced and often ambiguous work setting. Your technical expertise is complemented by excellent communication skills, allowing you to serve as the primary technical contact for suppliers and stakeholders.

Desirable

Experience with green-field and brown-field projects, particularly in designing highly automated fulfillment centers, cross-dock facilities, and transportation centers, is a plus. Familiarity with template-based and custom design processes will enhance your ability to contribute to our diverse project portfolio.

What you'll do

In this role, you will lead the design of innovative fulfillment and distribution systems, ensuring that each project meets the highest standards of quality and efficiency. You will collaborate closely with various teams to conceptualize and realize designs that leverage cutting-edge technologies. Your responsibilities will include overseeing the design approval process and ensuring a smooth hand-off to the Operations Engineering team for installation and commissioning. You will support the Ops Engineering team throughout the installation phase, ensuring that the systems you design are successfully launched and operational. Your projects will vary widely, providing you with the opportunity to apply your skills in different contexts and learn continuously. You will be challenged to think creatively and strategically, driving improvements in our logistics systems that have a global impact.
