Axon is seeking a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer to support high-quality manufacturing processes and products. You'll be involved in the full product lifecycle, ensuring compliance with quality deliverables. This role requires expertise in quality engineering and continuous improvement.

Who you are

You have a strong background in quality engineering, particularly in manufacturing processes, with a focus on ensuring compliance with quality standards. Your experience includes leading cross-functional teams in continuous improvement projects and managing nonconforming material reviews. You are adept at driving root cause analysis and implementing effective corrective actions to enhance product quality. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are committed to delivering high-quality results that meet customer expectations.

Desirable

Experience with quality deliverables such as CAPA, validation plans, and FAIR/PPAP documentation is a plus. Familiarity with quality monitoring implementation and AQL sampling plans will further enhance your candidacy. You are passionate about quality and have a keen eye for detail, ensuring that all processes align with industry standards and regulations.

What you'll do

As a Senior Manufacturing Quality Engineer at Axon, you will play a pivotal role in the Global Quality team, supporting the full product lifecycle. You will participate in the Axon Product Lifecycle (APL) process, ensuring compliance with quality deliverables and leading issue resolution efforts. Your responsibilities will include managing material dispositions with cross-functional teams and driving 8D investigations to identify root causes of quality issues. You will develop and maintain essential documentation, including FAIRs and PPAP, to ensure that all products meet Axon's high standards. Your role will also involve implementing quality monitoring strategies to continuously improve manufacturing processes.
