Overview

Samsara is seeking a Core Enterprise Account Executive to help enterprise-sized customers digitize workflows and unlock data insights. This role involves managing complex sales processes and requires strong negotiation skills.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in enterprise environments, where you've successfully navigated complex sales cycles and built strong relationships with key stakeholders. Your ability to understand customer needs and articulate value propositions is exceptional, allowing you to effectively communicate how technology can transform operations. You thrive in a remote work environment and are comfortable managing your time and priorities independently.

You possess strong negotiation skills, having managed high-stakes deals ranging from $100k to $500k. Your experience includes conducting proof of concepts (POCs) and managing trials, ensuring that customers see the value of the solutions you offer. You are adept at consolidating outdated technologies and guiding customers through the digital transformation process.

You are passionate about the impact of IoT on physical operations and understand the industries that Samsara serves, including agriculture, construction, and transportation. Your ability to connect with customers on a personal level and understand their unique challenges sets you apart.

Desirable

Experience in the IoT or technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with the specific challenges faced by industries such as manufacturing and field services. You are a self-starter who is eager to learn and grow within a fast-paced environment, and you are excited about the opportunity to contribute to a company that is shaping the future of physical operations.

What you'll do

As a Core Enterprise Account Executive at Samsara, you will be responsible for driving sales and building relationships with our largest and most strategic customers. You will work closely with clients to understand their needs and help them consolidate outdated technologies while digitizing their workflows. Your role will involve managing the entire sales process, from initial outreach to closing deals, ensuring that you provide a seamless experience for your customers.

You will conduct proof of concepts and trials, demonstrating the value of our solutions and helping customers unlock game-changing data insights. Your ability to manage multiple stakeholders and navigate complex negotiations will be crucial to your success in this role. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into our product offerings, helping to drive continuous improvement.

In addition to your sales responsibilities, you will also play a key role in educating customers about the benefits of our Connected Operations™ Cloud platform. You will be expected to stay informed about industry trends and developments, allowing you to position Samsara as a thought leader in the IoT space.
