Zappos is seeking an analytical and detail-oriented Site Merchandising Operations Specialist to drive our digital merchandising strategy through data-driven insights and technical expertise. This role combines technical skills with merchandising acumen to optimize the customer shopping experience and product presentation.
Key job responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
• Analyze site performance metrics and customer behavior data to inform merchandising decisions and improve user experience
• Manage product review, ensuring accurate and timely product launches
• Develop and maintain product attribution standards and taxonomy
• Optimize site navigation, filters, and search functionality
• Generate weekly performance analytics reports
• Build and maintain dashboards to track KPIs and surface actionable insights
• Collaborate within Marketing and technical teams to execute Site Merchandising strategy• Bachelor's degree in Business, Retail, or related field
• 3+ years experience in site merchandising or digital product management
• Experience with product information management systems
• Strong proficiency in SQL or similar query languages
• Experience with data visualization tools and dashboard creation
• Demonstrated expertise in reporting and analytics
• Strong understanding of digital commerce metrics and KPIs• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent attention to detail
• Strong project management skills
• Ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations
• Effective communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
