Job Description

As a system development Engineer II – Supply Chain Technology, you will play a key role in designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining ERP system extensions and customizations and integrations with upstream systems. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contribute technical expertise across Oracle EBS specifications and modern AWS technologies such as React, Node.js, and JavaScript.

This position requires strong leadership in promoting collaboration, effective communication, and operational excellence. You will be instrumental in creating scalable solutions and developing innovative processes to meet the evolving needs of the business. Ideal candidates will thrive in a dynamic environment, enjoy tackling complex challenges, and bring a strong focus on delivering high-impact customer experiences.

Key job responsibilities
- Design, build and extend applications. Design and develop solutions and maintain multiple applications within an ERP system and open source technologies as required.
- Develop technical specifications.
- Developing and implementing UI components
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to design and ship new features
- Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
- Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
- Optimizing components for maximum performance across various web browsers
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to build integrations.
- Troubleshooting and debugging issues to ensure smooth user experiences
- Participating in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency

- • 3+ years of experience in 3+ of the following disciplines: Cloud integration, Middleware, API, Supply chain, information solution or technical architecture
- • Experience with Oracle PL / SQL, Java Script and EBS related application development technologies
- • Experience programming with at least one modern language such as Java script, Python or Ruby- Proven track record of successful change management initiatives in business through strategic consulting and leading.
- Knowledgeable in change management, agile and program management best practices.
- Ability to think abstractly and deal with ambiguous/undefined problems
- Experience taking a leading role in building complex software system
- Demonstrated ability to manage tradeoffs and evaluate opportunistic new ideas
- Experience working in an Agile environment using the Scrum methodology
- Experience building services using AWS products
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines build processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $116,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $201,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
