Supply Chain by Amazon (SCA) is the umbrella name for Amazon’s suite of physical and digital services that help businesses transport, warehouse, fulfill, deliver, and plan/analyze their movement of goods, inclusive of both on- and off-Amazon volume. With SCA, businesses can offload their full supply chain planning and execution or they can choose to integrate an `a la carte menu of composable supply chain primitives into their existing processes. We already have customers who use SCA services in some form or the other after we announced its launch in Accelerate in 2023.
The SCA product team drives vision, strategy, and delivery by working collaboratively across product, engineering, science, finance, business, and operations teams. We unlock new experiences for sellers and game changing features that will shape the future of the way we create value for our supply chain and selling partners.


Key job responsibilities
The Principal PMT role is a critical component of our organization. In order to solve supply chain problems for our selling partners, we need to have a deep understand of their supply chain needs and pain points. This can include core areas such as supply chain including manufacturing/sourcing strategy, global distribution, value added services, and inventory planning. This role is responsible for taking those learnings and translating them into a vision and roadmap to deliver best in class services to simplify supply chain management for our selling partners. We have a diverse set of interconnected systems and physical operations and this role requires the ability to understand how these integrate to deliver full end to end solutions. This role requires the ability to work across various business and tech teams to partner on requirements and product delivery. The successful candidate will be highly analytical, resourceful, customer-focused, and team-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills to drive decisions at the senior executive level. They should thrive in a collaborative, creative, and fast-paced environment with a proven track record in taking on end-to-end ownership and successfully delivering results.

Key Responsibilities Include:
• Create product vision and roadmap for tools used by third party sellers and enterprise partners
• Own Seller facing and internal tools that improve user experience and deliver on input improvement goals
• Develop mechanisms to monitor supply chain performance and create feedback loops for product development

- Bachelor's degree
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience technical product management- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements
- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience leading cross-organizational programs and setting and holding teams and individuals to timelines and deliverables without explicit authority

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $161,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $279,900/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
