Turing is seeking a Team Lead for Coding Data Annotation to oversee high-quality data annotation workstreams for Large Language Models (LLMs). You'll leverage your technical expertise in Python and other programming languages to guide a team while contributing hands-on. This role requires strong leadership and coding skills.
You have a strong background in software engineering with hands-on experience in coding, particularly in Python, Java, C, and C++. You understand the intricacies of data annotation and its importance in training Large Language Models (LLMs). Your leadership skills enable you to guide a team effectively while still being deeply involved in technical tasks. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of your work. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with Delivery Managers and Product Managers to ensure project success. You are adaptable and open to learning, encouraging your team to embrace challenges and grow together.
Experience with workflow automation and data quality assurance is a plus. Familiarity with AI systems and their applications in real-world scenarios will enhance your contributions to the team.
In this role, you will take technical ownership of coding data annotation workstreams, ensuring that the processes are efficient and effective. You will write, review, and debug production-level code, guiding your team in best practices and innovative solutions. Collaborating with Delivery Managers and Product Managers, you will architect workflows and design validation pipelines that meet the project's quality bar. Your hands-on approach will help you mentor coding annotators, providing them with the support they need to excel in their roles. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the data annotation processes align with the overall goals of the organization, contributing to the successful training and evaluation of LLMs.
