Overview

HubSpot is hiring a Senior Compliance Analyst to enhance digital trust for stakeholders through risk assessment and control implementation. This role requires a strong understanding of IT controls and experience in leading SOX engagements.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a strong understanding of IT control fundamentals and a proven track record in IT audit, risk, and compliance. With at least 5 years of experience, you have successfully led SOX engagements and are familiar with the latest frameworks and regulatory obligations. You are innovative and creative, capable of developing custom processes and solutions tailored to the unique requirements of an organization. Your critical thinking skills enable you to assess risks effectively and design controls that align with strategic priorities.

You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with diverse stakeholders including system owners, product managers, engineers, and business leaders. Your ability to communicate complex compliance concepts clearly and effectively is one of your key strengths. You are committed to continuous learning and staying informed about industry trends and best practices in compliance and risk management.

Desirable

Experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001, NIST, or GDPR would be advantageous. Familiarity with audit processes and tools is also a plus. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and have a knack for implementing solutions that enhance security, privacy, and resilience in IT and business processes.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing risks that could impact the organization. You will design, build, implement, and continuously monitor controls to ensure compliance with regulatory obligations. Your work will involve facilitating internal and external audits, ensuring that the organization meets its compliance requirements effectively. You will collaborate with various teams to build and maintain a robust internal IT control environment that supports the company's strategic objectives.

You will contribute to high-impact, cross-functional projects that directly influence the security and privacy of critical IT and business processes.
