SpaceX is hiring an Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial electrical systems and components. This role requires 3+ years of experience as a licensed electrician and a high school diploma or equivalent.
You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 3 years of experience working as a licensed electrician. Your background includes a solid understanding of electrical systems, devices, and components, and you are familiar with the National Electrical Code (NEC). You are detail-oriented and capable of interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, and schematics to perform your work effectively. You possess knowledge of motor control centers, motor circuits, and overloads, and you are skilled in installing and maintaining generators and automatic transfer switches. Your experience also includes working with commercial lighting, receptacles, panels, circuits, and controls. You are committed to safety and efficiency in your work environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing industrial electrical systems and components. You will install and repair motor control centers and circuits, ensuring they operate efficiently. Your duties will include installing grounding and lightning protection systems, as well as maintaining electrical and electronic components of machinery and equipment. You will perform work from instructions using blueprints and wiring diagrams, ensuring compliance with the current NEC code. Additionally, you will troubleshoot and repair commercial lighting and controls, contributing to a safe and effective work environment. You will also be expected to perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall efficiency of the team.
