Anthropic is seeking a Senior Enterprise Account Executive for the Public Sector to drive the adoption of AI technology across Japan's government organizations. You'll manage the full sales cycle and work closely with senior leaders to modernize public services. This role requires strong consultative sales skills and experience in the public sector.
You have a proven track record in enterprise sales, particularly within the public sector, where you've successfully navigated complex sales cycles and built strong relationships with government entities. Your experience includes working with senior officials and understanding the unique challenges and requirements of public sector organizations. You are adept at consultative selling, able to articulate the value of innovative technologies like AI in transforming public services and operations.
You possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, allowing you to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders, from technical teams to executive leadership. Your strategic mindset enables you to identify high-value opportunities and develop comprehensive territory plans that align with organizational goals. You thrive in collaborative environments, orchestrating internal teams to deliver tailored solutions that meet stringent public sector standards.
Experience in AI or technology sales is a plus, as is familiarity with government procurement processes and compliance requirements. A background in digital transformation initiatives within the public sector will set you apart, as will any existing relationships with key government stakeholders.
In this role, you will own and exceed revenue targets by winning new public sector accounts and expanding existing relationships across Japan's government entities. You will build and execute territory plans, identifying high-value opportunities across national government ministries, prefectural and municipal governments, and quasi-governmental organizations. Leading consultative sales processes, you will engage with senior government officials, procurement leaders, and technical stakeholders, positioning AI as a driver for digital government transformation and improved citizen services.
You will orchestrate internal teams, including Product, Engineering, Applied AI, and Partnerships, to deliver solutions that meet the stringent security, compliance, and procurement requirements of the public sector. Your role will involve identifying new use cases for AI in government operations and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and adoption of Anthropic's AI solutions.
