Overview

Axon is seeking an Account Executive for their Campus team to drive growth in the higher education and K-12 markets. You'll develop strategic territory plans and build relationships with influential campus customers. This role requires expertise in complex sales cycles and proactive territory management.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in managing complex sales cycles and developing strategic territory plans. Your experience in the education sector, especially within higher education and K-12 markets, equips you to understand the unique needs of campus customers. You excel at building and nurturing relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to your clients. You are proactive and relentless in your approach to sales, always seeking new opportunities and forecasting with precision. Your ability to coordinate across multiple teams ensures that you can effectively expand the adoption of Axon's ecosystem of devices and cloud software. You are comfortable with a high level of travel, as this role requires you to engage with customers across the Central U.S.

Desirable

Experience in the public safety or justice sectors would be a plus, as it aligns with Axon's mission to protect life. Familiarity with technology sales, particularly in software and devices, will help you navigate the complexities of the products you will be selling. A strong understanding of the education landscape and the challenges faced by institutions will enable you to provide tailored solutions to your clients.

What you'll do

As an Account Executive on the Campus team, you will take ownership of a high-value territory, driving growth and expanding Axon's presence in the campus market. You will develop and execute a comprehensive regional plan that aligns with Axon's strategic priorities, ensuring that you meet and exceed sales targets. Your role will involve building and deepening relationships with key stakeholders at influential campus customers, guiding them through the sales process from origination to close. You will be responsible for steering multi-product, multi-stakeholder opportunities, ensuring that all parties are aligned and informed throughout the sales cycle. Your success will depend on your ability to be proactive, identifying potential leads and opportunities before they arise. You will collaborate closely with various Axon teams to ensure a seamless experience for your customers, leveraging their expertise to enhance your sales efforts.
