Job Description

At Audible, we believe stories have the power to transform lives. It’s why we work with some of the world’s leading creators to produce and share audio storytelling with our millions of global listeners. We are dreamers and inventors who come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences to empower and inspire each other. Imagine your future with us.

ABOUT THIS ROLE
The Marketing Manager will serve as a central project owner, working closely with product, content, and marketing teams to turn business requirements into actionable solutions. This role places a strong emphasis on project management — coordinating cross-functional stakeholders, managing timelines, anticipating risks, and ensuring that solutions are delivered with high quality and within agreed SLAs.

In addition to this core responsibility, you will also lead the planning and execution of outbound marketing initiatives, including email and other channels. This includes developing customer segmentation and targeting strategies to enhance personalization and optimize campaign performance.

The role requires the ability to connect business priorities with operational execution — structuring ambiguous problems, aligning stakeholders, and driving scalable solutions that improve customer experience. You will also champion innovation by leveraging Amazon’s AI tools and emerging technologies to streamline workflows and increase campaign effectiveness.

This position is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, execution, and collaboration, and who takes ownership in driving measurable business impact.

This role is open on a 12 month contract.

As a Marketing Manager, you will...
- Collaborate with marketing, product, and content stakeholders to identify or create solutions that address defined business requirements
- Manage assigned projects in partnership with cross-functional stakeholders, proactively identifying risks and uncertainties, and preparing contingency plans to ensure SLA compliance and high-quality outcomes
- Build and execute outbound campaigns—including email and other channels—ensuring seamless delivery and a consistent customer experience
- Develop and maintain customer segmentation and targeting strategies to optimize campaign performance and personalization
- Monitor campaign performance, analyze results, and provide clear recommendations for optimization and continuous improvement
- Stay up to date on best practices in email marketing and emerging channel capabilities, and advocate for the adoption of innovative technologies and methodologies
- Proactively leverage Amazon’s AI tools—such as machine learning and natural language processing—to streamline campaign production and improve marketing effectiveness
- Continuously identify opportunities to enhance end-to-end workflows and drive innovation through new technologies and automation
