Databricks is seeking an RVP, Enterprise Sales for UK&I to define and implement the go-to-market strategy for their Vertical Markets team. This role requires proven success in high-growth enterprise software sales and leadership experience.
You have a strong background in enterprise sales, particularly within high-growth environments, and have successfully driven revenue growth in previous roles. Your experience includes defining go-to-market strategies and executing business plans that align with organizational goals. You are adept at building and leading teams, having hired and managed sales executives who excel in their roles. You understand the importance of creating trust-based relationships with customers and have a track record of fostering collaborative cultures within your teams. You are results-oriented, with a keen ability to analyze market trends and adjust strategies accordingly to meet sales targets. Your leadership style emphasizes coaching and developing team members to achieve their best performance.
Experience in vertical markets such as Manufacturing, Energy, and Telecommunications is a plus. Familiarity with consumption-based revenue models will enhance your ability to drive customer adoption and usage effectively.
In this role, you will be responsible for defining and executing the sales strategy for Databricks' Vertical Markets team. You will lead a team of First Line Managers and Account Executives, ensuring they are equipped to meet their sales targets through effective coaching and support. You will implement regular pipeline reviews and forecasts to track progress against goals, adjusting strategies as necessary to ensure success. Building strategic relationships with customers will be a key focus, as you work to understand their needs and align Databricks' offerings with their business objectives. You will instill best practices within your team, ensuring that they consistently communicate the value proposition of Databricks' solutions. Your role will also involve reporting on market trends and shifts that could impact sales strategies, allowing you to stay ahead of the competition.
