What you'll do

In this role, you will spearhead the technical direction for the Platform team at Samsara. You will be responsible for designing and implementing foundational systems that support various software products, including Alerts, Workflows, Notifications, Reports, User Management, Roles and Permissions, Billing, and Invoicing. You will collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure that the systems you build meet the needs of the business and its customers. You will lead architectural discussions and make critical decisions that impact the overall direction of the platform. Your role will involve mentoring junior engineers, conducting code reviews, and ensuring best practices are followed throughout the development process. You will also be involved in troubleshooting and optimizing existing systems to enhance performance and reliability.
