What you'll do

As a Transport Technician at SpaceX, you will be responsible for coordinating the transport of flight modules from various locations, including Hawthorne, CA to McGregor, TX and Cape Canaveral, FL. You will oversee the entire transport crew and support staff, ensuring that all operations are conducted safely and efficiently. Your role will involve reviewing transportation documentation to prepare for each transport, including permits and contingency plans. You will travel with the assigned flight module, providing input and recommendations for compliance with transportation regulations. Evaluating in-transit risks and implementing solutions will be key aspects of your responsibilities, as you work to mitigate any potential issues during transport.
