Pathward is seeking a Senior Cloud Engineer/Architect to drive architectural effectiveness for cloud platform solutions. You'll work with AWS and Azure technologies to develop technology roadmaps and implement modern cloud methodologies. This role requires significant experience in cloud architecture.
You have 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or architecture, with a strong understanding of cloud platforms and services. You are adept at designing and implementing cloud solutions that align with business objectives, and you have a proven track record of driving architectural effectiveness in technology initiatives. Your expertise includes working with AWS and Azure, and you are familiar with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes. You thrive in a collaborative environment and enjoy working with cross-functional teams to solve complex problems. You are committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest cloud technologies and best practices.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation is a plus. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices will enhance your ability to contribute effectively to the team. You may also have experience in financial services or similar industries, which will help you understand the unique challenges and opportunities in this space.
In this role, you will own the architectural responsibilities for defining and supporting the implementation of modern cloud platform solutions. You will envision the future state of cloud architecture and develop technology roadmaps to transition from the current state to the desired future state. You will collaborate with various teams to ensure that cloud solutions meet business needs and are scalable, secure, and cost-effective. You will also be responsible for establishing best practices and standards for cloud architecture within the organization. Your role will involve mentoring junior engineers and providing guidance on cloud-related projects, ensuring that the team adheres to high-quality standards in their work.
