Overview

SpaceX is seeking a Senior ASIC/SOC Verification Engineer to develop cutting-edge ASICs for space and ground infrastructures. You'll work with Embedded Linux, C, C++, and Python to enable connectivity through the Starlink system. This role requires a strong background in ASIC verification and design.

Who you are

You have 5+ years of experience in ASIC/SOC verification, demonstrating a strong understanding of digital design and verification methodologies. Your expertise in C and C++ allows you to write efficient testbenches and verification environments, ensuring the highest quality of silicon products. You are proficient in Python, which you use for scripting and automation tasks, enhancing your verification processes. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside cross-disciplinary teams to solve complex engineering challenges. Your proactive and intellectually curious nature drives you to stay updated with the latest technologies and methodologies in the field. You are passionate about contributing to projects that have a significant impact on global connectivity and space exploration.

Desirable

Experience with verification tools and methodologies such as UVM or SystemVerilog is a plus. Familiarity with FPGA prototyping and hardware/software co-verification will set you apart. A background in aerospace or telecommunications can provide valuable context for your work at SpaceX.

What you'll do

As a Senior ASIC/SOC Verification Engineer at SpaceX, you will be responsible for developing and executing verification plans for next-generation ASICs. You will collaborate with design engineers to understand specifications and create comprehensive test plans that ensure functionality and performance. Your role will involve writing and maintaining testbenches in C and C++, as well as utilizing Python for automation and data analysis. You will participate in design reviews and provide feedback to improve design quality and manufacturability. Additionally, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, including firmware and systems engineers, to validate the integration of ASICs into the Starlink system. Your contributions will directly impact the performance and reliability of SpaceX's satellite communications technology.
