Handshake is seeking Calibration Technologists and Technicians to contribute to an AI research project. You'll evaluate AI model outputs and provide feedback based on your professional experience. No prior AI experience is required for this contract role.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in a technical or scientific field, which will enable you to evaluate and train AI models effectively. Your background may include precise calibration of scientific or technical equipment, ensuring accuracy through inspection and repair. You are comfortable working independently and can manage your time flexibly, averaging 5-20 hours per week. You are eager to learn new skills and contribute to the advancement of AI in your area of expertise.
In this role, you will leverage your professional experience to assess AI model outputs related to your field. You will develop prompts that reflect your expertise and evaluate the responses generated by the AI models. Your feedback will be crucial in enhancing the model's understanding of workplace tasks and language. You will work asynchronously, allowing you to contribute from anywhere in the United States. As project opportunities arise, you will have the chance to engage in various areas of expertise, depending on availability.
