dLocal is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to enhance their payment solutions. You'll work with Java to implement new features and improve performance. This role requires significant experience in software development.
You have 5+ years of experience in software engineering, particularly in backend development, and you thrive in building robust solutions that impact millions of users. Your expertise in Java is complemented by a strong understanding of software architecture and design principles, enabling you to create high-performance applications. You are comfortable working in a collaborative environment, taking ownership of projects from inception to deployment, and you enjoy tackling challenges head-on. You are customer-centric and understand the importance of delivering value through technology. You are adaptable and eager to learn, ready to grow alongside a diverse team of professionals.
Experience with payment processing systems or financial technology is a plus, as is familiarity with agile methodologies. You may also have knowledge of additional programming languages or frameworks that enhance your versatility as a developer.
As a Senior Software Engineer at dLocal, you will be responsible for implementing new features that enhance our payment products, ensuring they meet the needs of our global clients. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers and designers, to translate requirements into technical specifications. Your role will involve optimizing existing systems for performance and scalability, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise in production environments. You will participate in code reviews, providing constructive feedback to peers and contributing to the overall quality of the codebase.
