Apple is hiring a Memory Performance Engineer to drive the development of memory controllers and system caches for next-generation AR/VR and Cellular/5G applications. You'll work with C++ and Python to model and simulate architectural solutions. This role requires a strong background in SoC performance engineering.
You have a strong background in System-on-Chip (SoC) performance engineering, with experience in performance modeling and simulation. Your expertise in C++ and Python allows you to innovate new hardware concepts and effectively demonstrate their value. You are a collaborative team player, eager to work with hardware and software engineering groups to shape the architecture of future products. You possess excellent documentation skills, enabling you to write architectural specifications in collaboration with engineers across various disciplines. Your analytical mindset helps you gather, analyze, and validate measured and simulated results to compare architectural designs effectively.
Experience with memory controllers and system caches is a plus, as is familiarity with AR/VR and Cellular/5G applications. A passion for innovative hardware concepts and a proactive approach to problem-solving will set you apart in this role.
