Overview

SpaceX is hiring a Data Engineer for the Regulatory team to design and maintain critical data services for Starlink. You'll work with SQL, Python, and Airflow to improve data accessibility and efficiency. This position requires experience in data engineering and cloud technologies.

Who you are

You have a strong background in data engineering, with experience in building and maintaining data pipelines and services that support regulatory and licensing data. You are proficient in SQL and Python, and you understand how to work with unstructured data to create organized repositories that enhance data accessibility. Your experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS, allows you to leverage scalable solutions for data management. You are familiar with tools like Airflow for orchestrating complex workflows and automating repetitive tasks, which helps in improving internal efficiency.

You thrive in collaborative environments and understand the importance of preventing data silos and process breakdowns. You are detail-oriented and have a knack for problem-solving, which enables you to identify areas for improvement in data processes. You are also committed to continuous learning and staying updated with the latest trends in data engineering and cloud technologies. Desirable
