Handshake is seeking Mathematicians for an AI Trainer contract role. You'll evaluate AI models and provide feedback based on your professional experience. No prior AI experience is required.
You have at least 4 years of professional experience in mathematics or a related field, which equips you with the context needed to evaluate and train AI models effectively. Your background may include mentoring others on mathematical techniques, maintaining knowledge in the field through professional journals, and developing new principles and relationships within the mathematical community. You are comfortable working independently and can manage your time flexibly, averaging 5-20 hours per week on this project.
In this role, you will contribute to an AI research project by evaluating the outputs of AI models related to your field of expertise. You will develop prompts that accurately reflect your professional experience and assess the AI's responses to ensure they align with real-world applications. Your feedback will be crucial in enhancing the AI's understanding of workplace tasks and language, ultimately improving its performance. You will work asynchronously, allowing you to engage with the project from anywhere in the United States, and you will have the opportunity to learn new skills while contributing to the advancement of AI in your field.
