You are an Engineering Technician with a strong foundation in maintaining and troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems. You have hands-on experience with mission-critical facilities and understand the importance of uptime in technology infrastructure. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, operating, and troubleshooting Data Center Operations' mission-critical facilities. You will work with stand-by diesel generators, three-phase electrical systems, switch gear, UPSs, PDUs, and various cooling systems. Your daily tasks will involve hands-on electrical and mechanical equipment troubleshooting, ensuring that all systems operate efficiently and effectively. You will monitor system performance and respond to any issues that arise, contributing to the extraordinary uptime that Amazon is known for. You will collaborate with a team of engineers and specialists, sharing knowledge and best practices to enhance operational efficiency. Your role will also involve participating in continuous improvement initiatives, helping to optimize processes and systems within the data center.
