Job Description

Project Kuiper is an initiative to increase global broadband access through a constellation of 3,236 satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). Its mission is to bring fast, affordable broadband to unserved and underserved communities around the world. Project Kuiper will help close the digital divide by delivering fast, affordable broadband to a wide range of customers, including consumers, businesses, government agencies, and other organizations operating in places without reliable connectivity. Export Control Requirement: Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum. The Analyst is a key part of the Commercial Revenue Operations of Kuiper. They will drive the processes in delivering invoices, contract onboarding and provisioning services by orchestrating orders to customers, ensuring a smooth and efficient customer experience. They will also optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of field technicians and teams responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing infrastructure and services. The successful candidate will have experience leading complex strategic initiatives across global programs with cross-functional stakeholders. This requisition is for multiple positions within the Global Contract Operations, Order Orchestration and Billing Operations (GCOB) team. Key job responsibilities
Global Contract Operations and Billing (GCOB) at Kuiper. The GCOB team is responsible for managing the entire customer lifecycle, from contract onboarding to service delivery and billing. This critical function ensures seamless customer experiences and accurate revenue recognition across Kuiper's global operations. Key Responsibilities: Contract Onboarding: Translate complex agreements into operational data Configure systems to reflect contract specifics Manage customer information and unique identifiers Implement terms, conditions, pricing, and service plans Order Orchestration: Manage end-to-end order lifecycle Coordinate hardware installation and service activation Track service delivery and resolve bottlenecks Manage customer communications throughout the process Billing Operations: Orchestrate billing cycles and revenue recognition Apply discounts, credits, and custom billing solutions Generate and deliver invoices Resolve billing disputes and manage tax compliance Monitor contract adherence and usage commitments The ideal candidate will have experience in satellite communications or similar complex service industries, strong analytical skills, and the ability to navigate intricate contractual and technical requirements. They should be adept at cross-functional collaboration and have a track record of implementing process improvements and automation initiatives to drive efficiency and scalability.

- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in business, accounting, or a related field - Intermediate / Advanced level of Excel skills and basic SQL knowledge.
- Verbal/written communication and presentation skills, including an ability to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams
- If needed, flexible to work on rotational week off or based on roster to support business requirements.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities- Experience with financial contracts and comfortable with contractual language. Ability to read and interpret a customer contract and transform into a discounting/Billing solution.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively across all functions and levels of the organization - Highly organized, have multi-tasking skills, and efficient in ambiguous situations.
- Customer Service Orientation with ability to use customer feedback to continually improve processes

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $79,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $169,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
