MongoDB is hiring a Senior Account Executive to drive growth by identifying new business opportunities and cultivating relationships with key stakeholders. You'll utilize tools like Salesforce and Sales Navigator to manage the sales cycle effectively. This role requires 5+ years of field sales experience.
You have over 5 years of quota-carrying field sales experience, particularly in closing new workloads and expanding existing accounts. Your track record demonstrates a strong ability to identify and pursue new business opportunities, especially within an existing customer base. You excel at building relationships with key stakeholders, including CTOs and Engineering/IT leaders, ensuring successful adoption of solutions. Your experience has equipped you with the skills to manage the full sales cycle for various products and services, and you are adept at developing strategic territory plans to achieve revenue targets.
You are a collaborative team player who thrives in a sales ecosystem, driving initiatives and partnerships that enhance sales performance. Your proficiency in utilizing prospecting tools such as Salesforce, Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, and Outreach allows you to build a robust sales pipeline effectively. You are committed to continuous improvement and value feedback, always looking for ways to enhance your sales strategies and processes.
Experience in the technology sector is a plus, as is familiarity with MongoDB's products and services. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing market conditions. Your strong communication skills enable you to articulate the value of solutions clearly and persuasively to potential clients.
In this role, you will play a pivotal part in driving MongoDB's growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities within an existing customer base. You will cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring the successful adoption of MongoDB's solutions. Your responsibilities will include managing the full sales cycle for all MongoDB products and services, from prospecting to closing deals.
You will develop and execute a strategic territory plan aimed at achieving revenue targets, collaborating closely with the sales ecosystem to drive sales initiatives and partnerships. Building a sales pipeline in Salesforce and Clari will be a key part of your role, as will maximizing the use of prospecting tools such as Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Sendoso, and Outreach.
Your success will be measured by your ability to grow the current base of MongoDB customers by landing new workloads through outbound prospecting. You will work closely with your team to share insights and strategies, contributing to a culture of success and continuous improvement within the sales team.
