Overview

Dropbox is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead the strategy for its Teams & Collaboration experience. You'll craft a multi-year roadmap and align cross-functional teams to deliver value for small and medium-sized businesses. This role requires strong leadership and strategic vision.

Job Description

Who you are

You have extensive experience in product management, ideally with a focus on collaboration tools and strategies for small and medium-sized businesses. You understand the nuances of building products that cater to diverse team needs and have a proven track record of driving product vision and execution. Your ability to influence stakeholders at all levels is complemented by your strong analytical skills, allowing you to make data-informed decisions that enhance user experiences. You thrive in cross-functional environments, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and research teams to ensure alignment and coherence across product offerings. You are passionate about understanding customer needs and validating solutions through iterative testing and feedback. Your familiarity with the SMB collaboration landscape enables you to position differentiated offerings effectively.

What you'll do

In this role, you will own the portfolio strategy for Dropbox’s Teams & Collaboration experience, setting a clear vision and crafting a multi-year roadmap that aligns multiple product, engineering, and design streams. You will lead discovery and validation efforts to specify the minimum viable product (MVP) and evolve collaboration and sharing features. Ensuring system coherence is crucial; you will review and reconcile plans across activation, expansion, admin, and collaboration surfaces to prevent overlap and create a unified end-to-end experience. You will drive execution at scale by translating strategy into actionable milestones, setting success metrics, and unblocking teams to maintain high product quality and consistency. Partnering with research, design, data, and support teams, you will champion the customer by deeply understanding SMB team needs and validating solutions through iterative testing. Your role will also involve orchestrating cross-functional alignment, building partnerships with engineering directors and design leads, and coordinating with security, privacy, identity, and billing teams when changes impact multiple surfaces. Ultimately, you will work closely with activation and expansion owners to deliver growth outcomes that enhance the overall user experience.

What we offer

At Dropbox, we offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of CAD 227,000 to CAD 307,100. You will be part of a dynamic team that values collaboration and innovation, with opportunities for professional growth and development. We encourage you to apply even if your experience doesn't match every requirement, as we believe diverse teams build better products.
