Sourcing Specialist, PoP Infrastructure (Starlink)

Who you are

You have experience in sourcing and supplier management, ideally within the telecommunications or technology sectors. You are a creative problem solver who thrives in fast-paced environments and can navigate complex supplier relationships. Your ability to assess regional business, cultural, technical, and regulatory factors is crucial for ensuring the health of supplier partnerships. You possess strong negotiation skills and are comfortable managing contracts with ISPs, datacenters, and other service providers. You are adaptable and ready to take on challenges outside of your comfort zone, with a focus on delivering reliable internet services to customers.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and contracting with various suppliers to support the expansion of Starlink's ground infrastructure. You will work closely with engineering and multi-disciplinary teams to ensure timely activation and service delivery. Your responsibilities will include establishing regional and global supplier partnerships, managing costs, and ensuring service reliability. You will also be tasked with creatively managing commercial agreements to reduce vendor timelines and enhance service quality. As the ground network expands into new countries and regions, you will face unique challenges that require innovative solutions and a proactive approach to supplier development.
