HubSpot is hiring a Mid-Market Account Executive to identify, source, and close prospects in Canada. Who you are

You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in consultative selling, and understand how to engage with medium-sized businesses effectively. Your experience includes identifying and closing deals with prospects that have 51-500+ employees, showcasing your ability to navigate complex sales cycles. You are comfortable managing a pipeline of leads, both self-sourced and inbound, and excel at building relationships with potential buyers. You are results-driven and consistently meet or exceed quota levels, demonstrating your commitment to achieving sales goals.

You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to articulate the value of HubSpot’s software and the Inbound methodology to prospects. You are adept at leading discovery calls and conducting product demos, ensuring that potential clients understand how HubSpot can facilitate their business growth. Your consultative approach enables you to dissect and qualify prospects’ business goals, positioning HubSpot as a strategic investment for their success.

You thrive in collaborative environments, partnering closely with marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategies effectively. Your ability to bring innovative thinking and strategies to the table helps advance the company’s values and objectives. You are passionate about helping customers grow and are eager to contribute to building out the new Canadian segment for HubSpot.

Desirable

Experience in the Canadian market is a plus, as it allows you to understand the unique challenges and opportunities within this region. Familiarity with HubSpot’s software and its applications in sales and marketing will give you an edge in this role. You are open to learning and adapting to new strategies as the company introduces enhancements to existing solutions or releases new products.

What you'll do

As a Mid-Market Account Executive at HubSpot, you will play a crucial role in identifying, sourcing, and closing good-fit prospects within Ontario and Quebec. You will spend the majority of your time sourcing outbound leads while also following up on warm inbound leads. Your responsibilities will include leading discovery calls, demoing HubSpot’s software, and negotiating and closing new business deals. You will manage a pipeline of mostly self-sourced leads, engaging with potential buyers to develop strong relationships and understand their business goals.

You will position the value of HubSpot’s software and the Inbound methodology to medium-sized businesses, educating and guiding prospects through their buyer’s journey. Your consultative selling skills will be essential in dissecting and qualifying prospects’ business goals, ensuring that HubSpot is seen as a strategic investment for their growth.

Collaboration is key in this role, as you will partner closely with internal stakeholders to achieve team goals. You will work alongside marketing and technology departments to execute sales strategies effectively, contributing to the overall success of the company. Your innovative thinking and strategies will help advance HubSpot’s mission of helping customers grow.
