What you'll do

As a Senior Optical Comm Engineer, you will own and execute operational satellite activities, ensuring that the constellation functions at peak performance. You will coordinate between engineering teams to prepare for each launch and conduct on-orbit demonstrations. Your role will involve designing and conducting operational rehearsals to ensure readiness for various mission scenarios. You will drive automation efforts, focusing on scalability and efficiency, to minimize manual intervention in satellite operations. Additionally, you will develop concepts for Optical Inter-Satellite Link network operations, participating in launch and early operations to ensure successful mission execution. Your analytical skills will be put to use as you perform data analysis on system performance, identifying mechanisms for further improvement. You will also support R&D initiatives aimed at enhancing the capabilities of future satellite designs.
