Infrastructure / DevOps Engineer

Who you are

You have a strong background in DevOps engineering, with at least 3-5 years of experience in building and maintaining scalable infrastructure. Your expertise in cloud platforms, particularly AWS, allows you to design and implement high-availability solutions that support business operations effectively. You are proficient in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as Kubernetes, enabling you to streamline deployment processes and enhance system reliability.

You possess a solid understanding of Linux systems, which is crucial for managing server environments and troubleshooting issues that arise in production. Your experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform allows you to automate infrastructure provisioning and management, ensuring consistency and efficiency in deployment workflows. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing time between the office and remote work, and you thrive in collaborative settings where you can share knowledge and learn from others.

Desirable

Experience with monitoring and logging tools such as Prometheus or Grafana is a plus, as it helps you maintain system health and performance. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins or GitLab CI will further enhance your ability to deliver high-quality software rapidly. What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building and maintaining the infrastructure that supports Deliverect's API-first platform. You will lead efforts to ensure high availability and reliability of services, implementing best practices for deployment and monitoring. Your contributions will directly impact the stability of the platform, allowing businesses to connect with their customers seamlessly.

You will collaborate closely with software engineers to design and implement CI/CD pipelines that facilitate rapid and reliable software delivery. Your role will involve automating deployment processes, ensuring that new features and updates are rolled out smoothly without disrupting service. You will also monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise, using your expertise to resolve problems quickly and efficiently.

As part of the Cloud Platform department, you will participate in regular team meetings to discuss ongoing projects and share insights on infrastructure improvements. You will have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, helping them develop their skills and understanding of DevOps practices. Your work will contribute to creating exceptional customer experiences, as you ensure that the infrastructure is robust and capable of handling the demands of a rapidly evolving global market.
