Jr. Sous Chef (Sushi)

Who you are

You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 3 years of experience as a sous chef or in culinary management. Your background includes sushi kitchen experience, and you may hold a degree in culinary arts. You thrive in high-volume production and catering environments, demonstrating a proven ability to create innovative menus daily. Your excellent communication skills and creative spirit allow you to contribute to the culinary experience at SpaceX, making it an integral part of the company culture.

What you'll do

As a Jr. Sous Chef, you will manage and monitor inventory levels and ingredients, ensuring that the kitchen operates smoothly. You will assist in establishing menu specifications and maintain quality by ensuring that all products are prepared according to established guidelines. Your role will involve enforcing food quality standards and ensuring the safety of the physical kitchen and café space. You will assist with and distribute work schedules, overseeing front-of-house food preparation to ensure a seamless dining experience for all.
