Amazon is looking for a passionate, talented, and inventive Software Development Engineer with the interest in the scalable systems to help build industry-leading Speech, Audio and Language technology.
Our mission is to provide a delightful experience to Amazon’s customers by pushing the envelope across the Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) in the Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), Machine Translation (MT), Natural Language Understanding (NLU), Machine Learning (ML), Text-To-Speech (TTS) and Computer Vision (CV).
As part of our engineering team in Amazon speech and audio generation, you will work alongside internationally recognized experts to integrate and surface novel modeling techniques to advance the state-of-the-art in human language technology at scale. Your work will directly impact millions of our customers in the form of products and services that make use of speech and language technology. You will gain hands on experience with Amazon’s heterogeneous speech, text, and structured data sources, and large-scale computing resources to accelerate advances in spoken language understanding.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree and 3y+ of experience in building services for business application
- Knowledge of the AWS service landscape
- Basic exposure to the Service and API design
- Working knowledge of Java programming language
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in architecting native AWS solutions
- Experience building complex or large-scale software systems which have been successfully delivered to customers
- Master's degree in engineering or other equivalent quantitative discipline- Bachelor’s degree and 3y+ of experience in building services for business application
- Knowledge of the AWS service landscape
- Basic exposure to the Service and API design
- Working knowledge of Java programming language- Experience in architecting native AWS solutions
- Experience building complex or large-scale software systems which have been successfully delivered to customers
- Master's degree in engineering or other equivalent quantitative discipline
