SpaceX is hiring a Maintenance Engineer for the Starlink project to ensure maximum asset reliability and system uptime. You'll work with technologies like Altium Designer and AutoCAD in Bastrop, TX.
You have a strong background in maintenance engineering, particularly in the context of PCB design and reliability. Your experience includes working with Altium Designer and AutoCAD, enabling you to effectively manage and improve equipment reliability in a fast-paced environment. You are familiar with embedded systems and have a solid understanding of Linux, which allows you to troubleshoot and optimize system performance. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that production processes run smoothly and efficiently. You are detail-oriented and proactive in identifying potential reliability risks before they impact operations. You understand the importance of maintaining high standards of quality and safety in engineering practices.
Experience with satellite technology or telecommunications systems would be a plus, as would familiarity with reliability engineering principles and practices. You may also have knowledge of industry standards and regulations that govern equipment maintenance and reliability.
As a Maintenance Engineer for the Starlink project, your primary responsibility will be to identify and manage asset reliability risks that could adversely affect factory or business operations. You will implement and execute plans aimed at minimizing production losses and ensuring maximum uptime of systems.
