Overview

Zeeco is seeking a Senior Project Engineer to oversee all aspects of assigned jobs, ensuring quality products are delivered on time and within budget. This role requires a B.S. degree in Engineering or related field and 6-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.

Who you are

You have a B.S. degree in Construction Technology, Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, etc.), or a related field, along with 6-10 years of experience in a manufacturing environment. Your background equips you with the skills necessary to manage projects effectively, ensuring that quality products are delivered on time and within budget. You possess strong personal computer skills, enabling you to navigate various software tools essential for project management.

You are detail-oriented and have a proven track record of confirming equipment selection and coordinating schedules for drafting and manufacturing. Your ability to maintain a cost budget while handling technical and commercial correspondence is crucial in this role. You thrive in a collaborative environment, working alongside engineering teams and support groups to foster a strong culture of growth and development.

Desirable

Experience in quotation and sales support is a plus, as is familiarity with field and sales trips. Your understanding of design engineering principles will enhance your ability to coordinate effectively with various departments, ensuring that all project requirements are met.

What you'll do

As a Senior Project Engineer at Zeeco, you will be responsible for all aspects of assigned jobs, ensuring that quality products are delivered on time and that cost budget controls are followed. You will review the Shop Order file and confirm the scope of supply based on customer specifications and sales quotations. Your role will involve confirming equipment selection and design, performing and coordinating required calculations and sketches to establish equipment design.

You will coordinate drafting for each job, ensuring that all required drawings are completed and that customer mark-up prints are reviewed and instructed to the drafting team. Establishing and tracking the cost budget for jobs will be a key responsibility, requiring collaboration with the Sales Department and cost specialists.

Maintaining the delivery schedule for each job based on customer requirements and Zeeco workloads will be essential. You will coordinate drafting, purchasing, manufacturing, and quality control to ensure timely delivery. Additionally, you will inform the Quality Control Department of customer and job specifications, ensuring that all quality standards are met.
