Who you are

You have 6-8 years of experience in visual, interactive, or UI design roles within agency, product, or digital studio environments — your strong portfolio showcases your expertise in interactive and motion-focused design across web and mobile platforms. You possess proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Principle, and Framer, allowing you to create vibrant and usable visual experiences. Your solid grounding in typography, layout, color, iconography, and visual hierarchy ensures that your designs are not only aesthetically pleasing but also technically sound.

You have experience designing responsive and adaptive interfaces across multiple platforms, demonstrating your ability to create seamless user experiences. Familiarity with design systems, component libraries, and style guides is essential for maintaining visual and brand integrity in your work. Additionally, you have a basic understanding of front-end technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, which facilitates effective collaboration with developers.

What you'll do

As an Interactive Visual Designer at AKQA, you will shape user experiences for our clients' digital channels, ensuring that each interaction is intuitive and engaging. You will design visually compelling experiences across various digital touchpoints, focusing on the intersection of motion, interface, and visual storytelling. Your role will involve collaborating closely with UX, product, engineering, and design teams to bring ideas and concepts to life while maintaining the established design ethos.
