Job Description

Amazon AMXL (Extra Large) Learning and Development is looking for an Instructional Designer to lead the design and development of innovative eLearning for our network of associates.

If you are passionate about designing and developing world-leading learning experiences, this is your chance to innovate and create engaging mobile training. We are looking for a learning professional with an exceptional e-learning experience design and content development skill set to analyze our business needs and deploy tailored solutions for new products along the associate leaner journey.


Key job responsibilities
- Analyze the audience, environment, technologies, content, and operational constraints to identify business relevant learning objectives and propose efficient and scalable training products.
- Design tailored curricula considering UI, accessibility & DEI standards and trade-offs associated with selecting the best delivery methods.
- Develop world-class learning products deeply integrated into employee workflows leveraging eLearning authoring tools and API integration.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance solutions, considering factors such as quality, business impact, scalability, and sustainability.
- Take a data driven approach to understand successes and improvement opportunities for the designed solution while establishing methods for ensuring both consistency and quality.
- Partner effectively with technology, operations, and field teams worldwide.

About the team
AMXL L&D is comprised of global program managers, instructional designers, and visual designers who are obsessed about delivering the best customer learning experience. - 3+ years of program or project management experience
- 3+ years of developing program strategies and plans, diving execution, and influencing senior stakeholders experience
- Experience using data and metrics to determine and drive improvements
- Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams
- 4+ years Storyline/eLearning development experience and experience using Adobe Creative Suite to enhance learning experiences- 3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
- 3+ years of driving process improvements experience
- Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
- Experience building processes, project management, and schedules

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $58,300/year in our lowest geographic market up to $113,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
