Localization Associate is responsible for localizing standard operating procedures (SOPs), training materials, connection documents, and Auris documents to align with local language and cultural nuances. The role involves supporting translation tasks for technical and business documentation, as well as editing, formatting, and structuring content to enhance readability.
Additionally, the Localization Associate will develop and maintain a glossary of localized terms to ensure consistency across company materials. They will review and proofread translated content to meet company quality standards and collaborate with internal teams to verify the accuracy of technical and industry-specific translations. Managing timelines and workflows for localization tasks to ensure timely delivery is also a key responsibility.
Key job responsibilities
- Localize SOPs, training materials, and other connection, Auris documents to align with local language and cultural nuances
- Support translation tasks, ensuring accuracy and clarity in technical and business documentation
- Assist with documentation work, including editing, formatting, and structuring content for readability
- Develop and maintain a glossary of localized terms for consistency across company materials
- Review and proofread translated materials to ensure they meet company quality standards
- Work with internal teams to verify technical and industry-specific translations for accuracy
- Assist in managing timelines and workflows for localization tasks to ensure timely delivery
- Help adapt graphics, subtitles, and other visual elements for different languages to enhance accessibility
- Conduct linguistic and cultural research to improve localization processes and ensure relevance in local markets
- Support cross-functional teams by providing localization expertise

- Bachelor's degree in Translation, Linguistics, Communications, or related field with fluent English skills
- 1+ years of experience in localization, translation, or content adaptation
- Proficiency in standard office software (MS Office Suite) and familiarity with translation management systems (TMS) or computer-aided translation (CAT) tools- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications
- Experience in a dynamic environment with a high degree of customer service
