If you have the curiosity, passion, and collaborative spirit, work with us, and let’s move the world forward together. **About the Team:** The Uber Eats business in APAC continues to grow, creating more earning opportunities for our merchant and delivery partners while offering greater convenience to our customers. #GoGetIt embodies the attitude and mindset of Delivery at Uber; we’re on a mission to create magical experiences for all our users, merchant partners, and delivery partners by building the most reliable, innovative, and sustainable marketplace in APAC. **About the Role:** This role sits within the APAC Regional Strategy & Planning team for Uber Eats; a dynamic and high-impact group driving the next phase of growth across five key markets: Australia, Japan, Taiwan, New Zealand, and Sri Lanka. You will play a pivotal part in shaping the future of the business by providing strategic, operational, and analytical guidance to the APAC leadership team. Your work will directly influence key decisions and help us deliver exceptional value to our customers, merchants, and delivery partners. **What You’ll Do:** - Business Analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of market trends, the competitive landscape, and internal performance data within the Restaurants vertical to generate actionable insights. - Strategic Initiatives: Drive high-priority strategic initiatives such as cross-functional pilots or the launch of new programmes across the region. - Analytics & Insights: Use advanced SQL and Excel skills to model complex operational scenarios and generate data-backed strategic recommendations. - Market Intelligence: Conduct exploratory analyses to identify competitor behaviour, market shifts, and emerging growth opportunities. **What You’ll Need:** - Strong analytical and critical-thinking skills, with the ability to translate complex data into clear strategic insights and recommendations. - Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel / Google Sheets and SQL; capable of developing models and extracting insights from large datasets. - Exceptional organisational and project-management skills, with the ability to prioritise, manage multiple workstreams, and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines. - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal; with the ability to simplify complexity and influence senior stakeholders across the business. - Strong commercial and operational acumen, and the ability to navigate ambiguity with structured, data-driven problem-solving. Uber's mission is to reimagine the way the world moves for the better. Here, bold ideas create real-world impact, challenges drive growth, and speed fuelds progress. What moves us, moves the world - let’s move it forward, together. Offices continue to be central to collaboration and Uber's cultural identity. Unless formally approved to work fully remotely, Uber expects employees to spend at least half of their work time in their assigned office.
