Overview

Axon is seeking an Account Executive for Small City agencies to drive sales of their products to law enforcement customers. This role involves outbound prospecting and account management, requiring strong communication and sales skills.

You have a proven track record in sales, ideally with experience in the public sector or law enforcement. You understand the importance of building relationships and are skilled at managing accounts effectively. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to present product demos and engage with clients confidently. You thrive in a collaborative environment and are motivated by a mission that makes a difference in society. You are adaptable and can navigate the challenges of a hybrid work schedule, balancing in-office collaboration with remote work.

Desirable

Experience in selling technology solutions or services to government agencies is a plus. Familiarity with law enforcement operations and the specific needs of small city agencies will help you excel in this role. A background in telesales or account management will also be beneficial as you develop and execute sales strategies.

What you'll do

As an Account Executive at Axon, you will be responsible for selling the full suite of products to new and existing law enforcement customers. You will develop and execute a regional sales plan, focusing on outbound prospecting and lead generation. Your role will involve conducting effective product demonstrations for end-user customers via phone and web conferencing, ensuring they understand the value of Axon's solutions. You will manage accounts proactively, maintaining relationships and identifying opportunities for growth. Collaboration with your team will be essential as you work closely with the Inside Sales Manager and other stakeholders to achieve sales targets. You will also be expected to travel occasionally, with an estimated travel expectation of 25%.
