LAIKA is seeking a Senior Publishing Program Manager to oversee the end-to-end production of publishing projects. You'll collaborate with internal stakeholders and external partners, utilizing project management tools like Airtable. This role requires strong communication and organizational skills.
You have extensive experience in project management, particularly in publishing or creative industries, where you've successfully managed multiple projects simultaneously. Your ability to collaborate with diverse teams and stakeholders is exceptional, ensuring that everyone is aligned and informed throughout the project lifecycle. You are proactive in identifying potential roadblocks and adept at negotiating timelines and deliverables to meet project goals. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to facilitate discussions and provide clear updates to senior leadership. You are familiar with project management tools, particularly Airtable, and can effectively build and maintain project timelines and documentation. You understand the importance of capturing learnings from each project to drive continuous improvement in workflows and collaboration.
In this role, you will act as the primary liaison between LAIKA and its publishing partners, managing relationships with packaging agencies, authors, editors, and artists. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to develop content architecture for various projects, ensuring that all creative and operational needs are balanced. Your responsibilities will include building and maintaining project timelines, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and providing weekly progress reports to senior marketing leadership. You will also be responsible for aggregating editorial inputs and ensuring that all feedback and approvals are routed efficiently among LAIKA stakeholders and external talent. Your role will be crucial in anticipating project challenges and aligning priorities across cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
