Figure is seeking a Principal Product Designer to shape the experience of core products end-to-end. You'll collaborate across teams to ensure designs are beautiful, buildable, and grounded in customer needs. This role requires a strong design background and experience in product development.
You have extensive experience in product design, ideally with a focus on fintech or technology-driven products. Your portfolio showcases your ability to create user-centered designs that balance aesthetics with functionality. You understand the importance of collaboration and can effectively communicate design concepts to cross-functional teams, including Product, Engineering, and Compliance. You are skilled in systems thinking and can translate complex requirements into intuitive user experiences. You are passionate about leveraging technology to improve user outcomes and are committed to continuous learning and growth in your design practice.
Experience with blockchain technology or financial services is a plus, as is familiarity with AI-driven automation in product design. You have a strong understanding of design systems and can contribute to their development and implementation. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and can adapt to changing priorities while maintaining a focus on quality and user satisfaction.
As a Principal Product Designer at Figure, you will lead the design efforts for core products, ensuring that user experiences are seamless and engaging. You will collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineers to define product requirements and translate them into design specifications. Your role will involve conducting user research to gather insights that inform design decisions, as well as creating wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs. You will advocate for user needs throughout the product development process and ensure that designs are feasible and aligned with technical constraints. You will also mentor junior designers, fostering a culture of design excellence within the team.
