Carvana is seeking an Auto Body Prepper to prepare vehicles for paint, including tasks like sanding and masking. This entry-level position requires a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience.
You have a minimum of 6 months of professional automotive prepping experience and are eager to join Carvana, the fastest-growing used automotive retailer in U.S. history. You are ready to take on the responsibilities of prepping vehicles for paint, which includes sanding, masking, taping, bagging, unbagging/tear down, and buffing. You are a team player who values the opportunity for growth and training in your career.
While not required, any additional experience in automotive repair or familiarity with high-tech tools will be beneficial as you join our innovative team. A valid driver’s license and the ability to communicate effectively in English are essential for this role.
As an Auto Body Prepper at Carvana, you will be responsible for preparing vehicles for paint, ensuring that each vehicle meets our high standards before it reaches our customers. You will work closely with other technicians in a state-of-the-art Inspection Center, utilizing advanced tools and techniques to ensure quality results. Your role will involve sanding surfaces to create a smooth finish, masking areas to protect them during the painting process, and performing buffing tasks to enhance the vehicle's appearance. You will also participate in training programs designed to help you develop your skills and advance your career within the company.
